The Vibe – Adult Social Networking

I’m Picking Up Good VIBErations

Something new has just been launched over at sextoys.co.uk.  It’s the Vibe, their social network community site and it’s buzzing.  I registered there the and found the process of setting up a profile straightforward, quick and easy.

Within minutes I completed my personal information, loaded up my naughty little avatar and was checking out what was on offer.

The Vibe is a bright and cheerful place where you can share information with fellow members via the forums or create a personal blog and if you aren’t interested in contributing to the wealth of information over there you can simply read the features and forum entries.

They encourage the use of video too, It’s possible to add your own videos and also comment via video which is an unusual concept and one I haven’t encountered before on similar sites.

Or why not have a chat in one of their chat rooms, meet new friends and share ideas.  With subscribers world wide you are bound to meet someone with similar interests to yours.

You may have a personal question you cannot confide in anyone else, no problem you can ask their resident Sexpert Rachel Foux.  The Vibe has covered every angle, it’s like Cosmopolitan only better because you get to interact and become part of the action.

The Vibe also offers regular contributors the chance to collect points which can later be exchanged towards products in their store.  So what do points make?…

…Prizes!

I’m going to be spending a lot of time over there so why don’t you join me by clicking here.

Lifestyle Lounge – Social Networking For Swingers

Lifestyle Lounge

Lifestyle Lounge

I was given the opportunity to look around the Lifestyle Lounge a few weeks ago. It’s a place where swingers and potential swingers can meet and chat, even hook up for a meeting if they want. You get the opportunity to interact in a non-judgemental environment and are able to identify, amongst other things, where your fellow members are from and what they are in to. So for example if you’re in St Paul and want to chat, meet and play with St Paul Swingers then it’s easy.

I originally joined up, told the site my preferences via the sign-up wizard screens and then didn’t find time over Christmas to log back in and investigate the features available.

Well, now I have and there is lots to see. You have your own private mail system, the usual sort of thing. It allows you to send and receive messages from other members and therefore carry on conversations on a one to one basis if you want to. This is great if you want to contact someone outside of the forums.

The forums are just as you’d expect a place for discussion and discourse about swinging. There’s an advice section that is of course always of great use to anyone new to a scene like swinging.

When it comes down to personal contact you can view a user’s profile. This can include information about them and their sexual preferences and how they like to swing. Remember one swinger is not like another. Everyone has their own preferences and when there are more than two people involved everyone’s needs and desires have to be compatible, though not identical. One of the nice features of the profile pages is that alongside the usual biog stuff there’s a link to MapQuest that allows you to see where the profile’s owner lives. This is an extremely useful feature if you’re not quite sure where abouts in the world a particular swinger or couple live. There’s no point arranging a hookup in Gnome Alaska when you really wanted to get together with St Paul swingers in Minnesota.

It’s been an interesting experience, moving around in the Lifestyle lounge and if for example you’re looking for like minded St Paul Swingers or swingers in any other area for that matter it’s a great way to do it. In an area like St Paul with a population of 287,000 you’re bound to find open minded adults wanting to swing with you.

It’s Raining Men

I love it when someone in the public eye does something that seems so out of their professional character that you start to question how much your really know about them.  Especially when they do something saucy.  Lol

Recently Jane Hill one of the BBC’s most prolific news correspondents revealed herself to be gay and took us all by storm, not that there is a problem with being with being gay.  You just didn’t expect her to come out.

And in today’s news Tomasz Schaffenacker has posed for the front cover of Attitude magazine which serves the gay community, although they claim that it features both gay and straight people.  He joined the BBC in 2000 and became the youngest weatherman at the age of 22.

I must say that Tomasz will never been viewed in the same way again when he appears on our screens to present the weather.  He has obviously hidden those pecs well and now he’s creating some warm fronts of his own.  ;)

This now opens up the question “Is Tomasz gay?” or can we ladies still believe we are in with a  chance? The magazine is obviously teasing us all with the hookline “BBC weatherman reveals his stunning secret”.

I’m going to have to take a sneaky peek at a copy next time in WH Smiths.

Ron Jeremy Attacks Violent Video Games

Ron Jeremy was a huge hit with the attendees at the CES Show in Vegas. Not surprising as it would be difficult to believe that the people at the CES did not wander across to at least one of the AVN show venues.

However while sitting on a discussion panel at the CES Ron Jeremy’s views on Internet porn raised a few eyebrows.

“Parents can block this stuff and need to stop blaming porn for a bad case of parenting,” he went on to say. “Parents should watch what their kids are doing online and take some responsibility. Don’t blame us. We have disclaimers, age notifications and software blockers. We are doing our bit.”

Ron of course is right. When it comes to responsible, legal porn sites they do take their responsibilities seriously because of the purest of motivations. Money. Porn turns over billions of dollars each year and to ensure that law enforcement agencies do not find a reason to shut you down has sound commercial benefits. Despite being the hub of Internet porn The US has some very conservative views, held by people throughout its society, most importantly in the legislature and in law enforcement. Right wing religious groups add their weight to numerous campaigns to pursue porn sites in general so being squeaky clean and exceeding, not just meeting standards set by local laws in good business practice.

Craig gross however did raise a valid point.

“The internet has changed the game completely,” said Gross. “What we used to have to work hard to find, you now have to work hard to avoid. For the most part, kids are smarter about technology than their parents. That has to change.”

The next generation of parents may face the same problems, despite being Internet savvy, because it all comes down to moving the age verification mechanisms on to sites and away from browsers, which a determined teenager will do everything they can to bypass.

Unregulated and sick porn will always be available but the porn industry and governments working together to lock down legal sites and prevent access by under-age visitors frees investigative resources can be focused on the illegal and exploitative purveyors of porn.

Social Network Launches TV and Radio

“Social Network Launches TV and Radio”

Boyzone is one of the fastest growing social networks for gay and bisexual men launched its free to air Television and Radio station this month giving members yet another reason to join the site.  TheBoyZone.com, launched in September 2009, now has in excess of 10,000 users from across the World, making it one of the ONLY free social network sites aimed specifically at gay and bisexual men.

In association with TVPolari, the leading gay broadcasting platform, TheBoyZone.com wanted to bring a fresh approach to the rather ‘old hat’ idea that gay sites should be pay sites.  The Radio and TV station has been launched to attract advertisers that wish to target gay and bisexual men and already the company is in talks with several well known brands.

“We wanted to offer a 100% free site to all our users and bring them some great additional services.” said Danny Lee, founder and Director of TheBoyZone.com.  “With members from over 140 Countries, and growing faster than we could ever have predicted, we are very proud of what we have achieved so far”.

A major breakthrough for TheBoyZone Radio and TV is that it is available via the new set top box straight onto a conventional Television in the same way as Freeview.  “We have the potential to be in half a million homes within the next 12 months which is great for our advertisers” said Danny Lee.”

The G-Ki, A Uniquely Configurable Sex Toy

One of my most exciting finds at the Venus sexpo in Berlin last October was the user configurable G-Ki from Je Joue.  You may already be aware of this highly successful and innovative UK based toy manufacturer following their recent success with the Sassi which was released in 2008.

Unfortunately I didn’t have the pleasure of being able to test the Sassi but I have been lucky enough to be one of the few people to test and review the G-Ki.

This vibrator is leading the way in female products.  We women aren’t all shaped the same and Jejoue have taken that onboard and spent time researching female anatomy to create a vibrator which configures to fit your pleasure zones perfectly.

How have they done this?  Well this vibrator has two adjustable points to enable you to angle the vibrator for g-spot massage or to stimulate both the g-spot and clitoris simultaneously.  How good is that!

This is the toy women have been waiting for years to buy.  It’s easy to use, rechargeable and and oh so satisfying.  Why not check out my full review of the Je Joue G-Ki over here and you too can find the key to your “G”.

Ringing The Belle Has Breathed New Life Into Sex Blogs

Sex Blog DirectoryFor over six years individuals and couples around the world have been quietly and not so quietly writing about their sex lives online. Some of these bloggers are known across the globe, the majority only within their own small circle of friends.

After a flowering of interest surrounding a few lauded individuals sex blogging has slipped quietly off the media radar in recent years. That was until the “outing” of Belle De Jour, now known to be Dr Brooke Magnanti of Bristol University.

Alex Parker, webmaster of AdultBlogHub.com (Including the Sex-Press Feed directory) one of the web’s most popular sex blog directories has stated, “Since the outing of Dr Magnanti our traffic has increased about 20%. This whole Belle De Jour story has re-ignited interest in sex blogging.” Parker went on to say, “Many people are realising that they can get their erotic fix for free online, and that there are places on the Web where they can find erotic writing about every nuance of sexuality.”

This increase in the use of blog directories and the Googling of the search term “Sex Blog” may be a short term blip before sex blogging fades back into the landscape of the blogosphere again. Or could it be the renaissance of adult writing on the Internet.

Adult Blog Hub’s directories can be found here and here.

Naughty Thrills Sent From Venus

As we have mentioned before our trip to the Venus Sexpo in Berlin in October was both enlightening and successful in terms of meeting new contacts and forging relations with old ones.

It was rather disappointing that I couldn’t bring back many of the latest adult conceptions being showcased but some were prototypes and others hadn’t brought the stock to be able to send me away with a smile on my face. ;)

But patience has paid of and I’m beginning to reap the rewards with Fun Factory sending me the Bubbles vibrator one of their new lines in the Click N Play range of rechargeable toys. You can read the review here….

And I also got my hands on one of the long awaited Better Than Chocolate vibrators from a newcomer to the adult pleasure zone, Nomi Tang. This stylish vibrator is also reviewed over here….

I still have some more exclusives heading my way so watch this space and be one of the first to read my thorough and extensive reviews.

Orgasm – The Play

Orgasm PlayTheatre productions are getting brave with their choice of titles lately, we had the Vagina Monologues which have been very successful and now we have Orgasm. This production it being performed at the Caxton Theatre in Grimsby.

Stop laughing. I know what you are thinking. Jokes about fish fingers come to mind but I’ll refrain from taking that naughty route. Lol

The production is taking place between 26th November and 5th of December and follows the success of Erections and Erections2. They know how to have fun in Grimsby. ;) The story is one of a Grimsby man who is bored with daily life in Grimsby and decides to set up a swingers club.

It sounds like a fantastic subject for a play, I would love to go and see it. If anyone does let me know what you thought.

Vulva Worship

Vulva Necklace

Vulva Necklace

Frequent readers know I have a very playful and naughty disposition. I love to be slightly risky and push the boundaries to a degree but not so far as discovery. After all it’s very much like outdoor sex, it’s great doing it and running the risk of being found, but you don’t want to actually be found.

Am I making sense? Good.

In the past we have had parents round when there has been a pair of love balls hanging on the Christmas tree. Had come stained cushions on the sofa Alex’s mother sat on one visit, much to my amusement. I sat opposite her and couldn’t stop smiling. It wasn’t deliberate just bad aim by Alex. Lol

I found this site and it is wonderful and tickles my naughty sense of humour no end, whilst producing some really nice pieces. You can get everything from a pendant to a plushie celebrating female gynaecology. Go and check it out.

If you are feeling generous I would love one of the pendants. X
