In my previous post I told you about the trendy Covent Garden restraint which was selling breast milk ice cream at a creamium. Get it? Lol
Well, it seems that the local council have raised concerns about it and seized their supplies. A spokesman representing Westminster council said it had been in receipt of two complaints from the public and was now waiting for guidance from the Food Standards Agency.
Baby Gaga ice cream is to be put through tests to see if it is fit for human consumption, despite Matt O’Connor from The Icecreamists claiming that it had been put through the same screening as blood doning requires.
I didn’t know this but breast milk can carry viruses which include hepatitis, so I can well understand the council’s concerns.
In the meantime Mr O’Connor will be counting the costs (£14 per serving) of being unable to sell his gimmicky ice cream.
