Matt O’Connor who runs a restaurant in London’s Covent Garden has come up with a great PR stunt which I’m sure will attract quite a lot of attention not just from the media who have been lapping up this story…pardon the pun. Lol
He has started selling ice cream called Baby Gaga and guess what it’s made from. Yes, you guessed right, the dessert is made from breast milk.
The donations are being made by Mrs Hiley who expresses her milk on site where it is pasteurised and churned with Madagascan vanilla pods and lemon zest. So I’m guessing it won’t taste anything like breast milk which has a salty rather tasteless flavour, don’t ask my how I know.
In return for each 10 ounces of mile expressed she gets £15 but one thing worries me, is she still breast feeding her own baby or has she continued to produce milk purely for this project?
Now I hear you asking yourself, how much does the restaurant charge for Baby Gaga ice cream? Well you need to dig deep in to your pockets, it costs £14 per serving complete with rusk and side order of Calpol or Bonjela. Hmmm, I’m guessing you won’t be queuing up for seconds.
Mr O’Connor says there are 14 other ladies waiting to get on to the milk round. I wish Matt luck because I have the feeling once the media fuss dies down he won’t be selling much of this gimmicky dessert.
