The TelevisionX “Shafta” awards are back so if you want to vote for your favourite stars and adult productions check out this press release:
Television X has today announced that they will be holding their fourth annual SHAFTA awards on 5th December 2013, at Rise Super Club, Leicester Square. This year the prestigious awards event coincides with the channel’s 18th birthday party and as ever will be a night not to be missed!
The Soft & Hard Adult Film & Television Awards are the UK’s biggest adult awards show celebrating the top talent and bringing together the cream of the UK adult industry. Not only a celebration of the industry, the SHAFTAs have become an insider networking event where traders rub shoulders with distributors, producers, directors, punters, celebrities and the stars themselves.
Since their inception in 2010 the SHAFTAs have grown with each event.
From a small pub in Greenwich to last year’s Tropical Island extravaganza at Platinum Lace, the event is always the highlight of the adult awards season. This year not only will the SHAFTAs celebrate the toast of the year’s talent, but as they coincide with Television X’s coming of age, we will be celebrating 18 years as the UK’s biggest adult TV channel. To ‘RISE’ to this landmark occasion we’re reaching new heights by taking over London’s newest hotspot, Rise, 1 Leicester Square, with our very own Fantasy Fairground.
“The SHAFTAs sets the bar for UK award ceremonies. It truly is the UK porn Oscars” said head of programming Chris Ratcliff. “This year we are pulling out all the stops with more guests, more sponsors and more of your favourite Television X stars and shows from the last 18 years.
Prepare for the rollercoaster ride of your lives!”
So hold onto your golden cocks ladies and gents, expect so much more than just an awards show, with nominees, performers and guests reflecting the best of the best productions and performances of the last 18 years, a true celebration of the last two decades of British adult entertainment! Voting opens on 1st November – watch this space!
